Scott Killam

RPT, Hand Therapist, Director

Scott Killam received his physical therapy degree from the University of New England in 1989. He did a clinical fellowship at the prestigious Curtis National Hand Center at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, which is home to the country’s largest team of hand surgeons and specially trained hand therapists. He has been involved in the hand therapy profession at the national level and is an active member of the American Society of Hand Therapists.


He has owned a private practice for more than 30 years specializing in the treatment and rehabilitation of the upper extremity. He is an expert in orthotic fabrication and specializes in the treatment of patients with complicated hand conditions. He has been a mentor to new and upcoming therapists through his established relationships with nationwide universities.

Daniel Stanley

Daniel Stanley is an occupational therapist and certified hand therapist with over 28 years of experience in hand and upper extremity therapy and rehabilitation. He is a 1994 graduate of Kean University and received a master's in public administration from Marist College in 2003. Daniel has spent his career working in an outpatient setting and has the privilege to serve as the director of a multidisciplinary team of rehabilitation professionals. Daniel places service to his clients first as he provides the finest care to a variety of upper extremity conditions. Over the years Daniel has become highly skilled in the fabrication of custom orthosis and braces. In addition, Daniel is a highly sought-after clinical instructor in the field of occupational therapy

Diane Bennett

OTR/L, CHT

Diane Bennett has over 30 years of experience in occupational therapy. In 2000, she began to specialize and in 2005 she passed the compressive exam of the upper extremity, earning her the additional credential of certified hand therapist.


Diane joined Hand Works Physical Therapy in 2021 after relocating from Virginia. She is originally from Long Island, NY. She is located at our Englewood location.


When not working, she enjoys our great outdoors, helping out with mom, and traveling. She especially travels to see her triplet granddaughters.

John Woodard

John Woodard is a physical Therapist with over 25 years of experience.

He earned his degree from the University of Illinois Chicago in 1995.


John has worked in multiple outpatient orthopedic Settings, giving him a vast level of experience.


John was a private practice owner of 3 successful therapy clinics in Illinois, before he moved to Florida 5 years ago.


John's treatment philosophy on patient care focuses on outcomes, making sure that his patients not only receive the highest quality care he can give them, but that they get their desired results, so they can return to their activities that are important to them, giving them the highest quality of life.


Outside of work John enjoys riding motorcycles, motor sports of all kinds, fishing, and other outside activities that Florida his to offer, spendy time with his 2 children, and the occasional Home Improvement project

Seirra Spellman

Seirra Spellman is a Florida native, who graduated from Venice High School and attended State College of Florida where she earned her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She enjoys the beach, camping, traveling to Tennessee, and spending time with her family.

Ashley is originally from Buffalo, NY where she earned her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from D’Youville College in 2021. After graduating she moved to Florida and began working in a nursing home. She decided she wanted to branch out and begin specializing in hand therapy. She is excited to join the Hand Works team!

Delaney Cole-Boggess

I am a recent graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University’s occupational therapy program and a lifelong Florida resident. Prior to coming to Hand Works, I completed internships in the neuro and inpatient rehab settings and am looking forward to gaining experience in the upper extremity specialty. Outside of OT, I enjoy going to concerts and spending time with friends and my Miniature American Shepherd!

Sydney Moninger is an Occupational Therapy Assistant with over 12 years of experience helping patients regain function and return to the activities they love. She has experience treating in many different settings and is trained in a variety of manual therapy techniques and kinesiology taping. She also writes for physical and occupational therapy blogs and websites. She first joined the therapy world after seeing firsthand what a difference OT can make, and she loves to help her patients see those results for themselves!

Shauna Fiorentino

OTR/L, CHT

Shauna Fiorentino brings more than 33 years of experience to Hand Works, with a career dedicated almost entirely to hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. After beginning in acute care and burn management, Shauna quickly discovered her passion for helping patients regain function and independence through specialized hand therapy. She understands that we navigate the world through our hands and that even minor injuries can have a significant impact on daily life.



Over 28 years ago, Shauna earned her Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential, a distinction that reflects advanced clinical expertise and a deep commitment to her field. She has continued to refine her skills through advanced training alongside leading hand surgeons at UCLA, the Philadelphia Hand Center, and Greater Chesapeake Hand Specialists.


Shauna is also certified in Active Release Techniques, Myofascial Release, and Kinesiotaping. She is especially known for her expertise in custom splinting and has shared her knowledge by teaching continuing education courses throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

While her experience is extensive, Shauna’s greatest strength lies in her ability to connect with patients. She builds strong, trusting relationships and is passionate about helping each individual achieve their goals. She is excited to bring her expertise and compassionate care to patients here in South Florida.
